The comeback year: 2005.
The 2005 season is going to be a great year for the Women's LARP Cross Country team. With senior Jennifer Rolfing and junior Anna Becker captaining the team, they are sure to be led to the promised land. These 2 runners have given nearly half of their lives to Cross Country, and this year, they want something back. Junior Casey Hughes, sophmore Kristen Ostrem, freshmen Rochelle Ruberg and Kendra LeQue look to round out this year's varsity team. All 4 of these runners have emmense strength when it comes to running, and their determination is unmatched. Sophmores Katie Glende and Bree Rogers look to headline this year's JV team, with a possible varsity push towards the end of the year. These 2 girls are rookies, but they could care less. They have already shown that they can run with the best of them. 8th graders Allison Kingsbury and Michelle Ruberg, with 7th grader Brenda West are leading the Junior High team this year, and I wont be surprised at all if any one of these 3 runners makes a JV team appearance. Yes they might not have alot of experence, but they make up for it with their pure ability and positive outlook on the sport, and that is what drives them to sucess.
Well there you have to folks. The 2005 LARP Women's Cross Country team. This year they hope to make a huge impact in the 3 Rivers Conference and the Section. Do I hear Cinderella Story in the making anyone....?????
